Birthday Message to Josh
Last week, Walker sent a birthday message to Josh.
Apparently, Walker thought it was a secret message, so he set about eating it.

Teething Ring Mask
Walker and Mom hanging out. He loves putting the cold teething ring on his face. A great way to beat the heat!
This video also contains a challenge for Jess (and other movie fans).

Walker and Friends Hangin' Out
A couple of weeks ago, Walker and Asher hung out together for a couple of hours. Leann had the pleasure of keeping an eye on both of them while Dad was at work. They had fun laying on the couch, talking and playing.
After a while, though, they got sleepy. So they took a nap.
Last weekend, his friend Quin stopped by. The boys enjoyed chilling on the couch.
Walker started playing a little rough and Quin got upset. Sorry Quin!

San Diego Trip
Last weekend, we went to San Diego. The weather was beautiful, and we had a great time. On Saturday, Walker put on his monkey clothes. We picked up lobster burritos and shrimp tacos at El Zarape and ate dinner on a blanket in Balboa Park.
Our hotel had a great view from the balcony, and Dad and Walker spent a lot of time checking out the City.
On Sunday, we checked out the beaches in La Jolla and Coronado.
That night, we had dinner in the Gaslamp District. Walker can't wait until he's old enough to eat pizza.
Monday night, we went to Old Town, the "Birthplace of California." After we ate dinner, we walked around the grounds. Walker displayed his acrobatic skills as a human cannonball.
On Tuesday night, we went to Little Italy for dinner. Walker looked sharp in his Longhorn gear.

4th of July
On the 4th of July, Dad made some bacon-wrapped jalapeno chicken nuggets. Because he seeded the fresh jalapenos with his bare hands, he had to wear his winter gloves when he held Walker. Walker didn't seem to mind, though.
That morning, the whole family went down to the neighborhood parade. We saw fire engines, classic cars, antique tractors, and lots of kids with their bikes decorated for the holiday.
There was even a pony all dressed up for the occasion that came over to sniff out Walker.
Walker enjoyed it all.
After the parade, we got to sit in the fire engine. Walker (and Dad) especially liked checking out all of the gauges and controls for the pumper.
That night, we all went to Taylor to celebrate the 4th of July. Unfortunately, Mom and Dad forgot to take photos, and the only one we got was one of Walker hanging out on a blanket with Asher. Walker's great-great aunt Pat made the red blanket, and it was the perfect backdrop for the 4th of July photo shoot!

Walker's First Swim
Last weekend we went to visit our friends Amber and Jeremie, and Walker took his first swim. The water was pretty cold, but he seemed to enjoy it.
After the cold swim, Walker and Mom got into the hot tub to warm back up.

Walker's First Three Months
We messed around with Animoto tonight and made a quick 30 second video documenting Walker's first three months. Let us know if you like this. We might make more if his public demands it.
