Three Boys in a Tub

This past weekend, Walker's friends came over to visit. Cooper and Reece got in the pool with him. They won't all be able to fit in there for much longer!

Parts of the Body

Walker is learning the names for all sorts of things. He's mastered most of his body parts: his ears, hair, eyes, nose, arm, toes, and cheeks. He hasn't learned about his special purpose yet, but that will follow soon, we're sure.

In the Wheelbarrow

Walker loves visiting Pawpaw's house, because there are always fun things to see and do. On this trip, he got a ride in the wheelbarrow!

More Recent Second Kid Images

Here are some more recent images of Baby #2. Wow, we got these posted less than a month after they were taken. We're getting better!

Now, we always joke that the second kid will one day think that he/she was unloved because we will almost definitely take fewer photos of him/her during his/her first couple of years, compared to Walker. We joke, but sadly, it's already becoming clear that it is bound to happen. Take, for instance, these sonogram images. They were taken in April. Yes, that's four months ago. And we're just now posting them online.

Maybe we'll need to teach Walker how to use the camera so that we can be sure to have plenty of photos of the new kid. At any rate, here's what the new baby looked like four months ago:

Fail.

So have you ever been in a situation in which you suddenly say to yourself, "Wow, I am way too old to be doing this?" I had planned to jump at the top of the dune, then halfway down fall and roll the rest of the way. However, about a third of the way down, I got confident that I could just run all the way down. Then, about two-thirds of the way down, I realized that I wasn't going to make it without wiping out, but that I was too far to start rolling. I also thought to myself "What the hell are you doing? You are too old to try something like this." You can see for yourself how my brilliant idea ended up.

Mama Sliding at White Sands

I think it's important to say that women who are 7.5 months pregnant should not try this.

A Different Kind of Sliding

Here's a video from our trip to White Sands. Walker loved going down the sand dunes!

Sliding

While we were in Las Cruces, Walker checked out the local playground. He decided that the slide was satisfactory. The dry air made his hair stand on end as he slid down!

At the Beach

Walker and Mama went to Galveston a couple of weeks ago, and Walker loved playing in the sand and water. Luckily, Andrea was there to chase after him!

A Walk in the Woods

We stopped at the overlook in Cloudcroft, and Walker headed on up the trail.

Sweeping

On our last day in our Austin house, after the movers had left with everything, Walker helped sweep up the dining room.

Light Switch

Flipping light switches is one of Walker's favorite hobbies. When we leave a step stool near the switch, he loves to climb up and down to turn the lights on and off.
