While Dad Slept, the Kids Played

I laid down on the bed for a few seconds. The next thing I knew, it was an hour later and the kids had been having all sorts of fun.

Walker's swing was hung in the backyard tree, and he can't get enough of it.

Findley still likes to just lay and check out the ceiling or anyone who happens to be walking by. She's a pretty chill kid.

Haircut

So we finally decided that Walker was beginning to look a bit too much like Farrah Fawcett.



So we took him to one of those kids haircut places. He was okay in the car chair at first.



But his patience waned as the lady kept holding his ears down while she cut.



After all the drama, the final result looked great!

Two Different Worlds

Findley rests quietly on the blanket while her crazy brother turns to destruction.

Two kiddos in a tight space. Walker loves snuggling up to his sister every once in a while. He's a sweet brother.

Unfortunately, we can only get Walker's hair to do this in the bathtub. No amount of gel can keep it up like this after it's dry.

Bro and Sis Hanging Out

Mama caught Walker during one of his more calm times and was able to get some photos of him and Findley together, hanging out on the bed.

Paying Bills

Findley loves to sit in our lap while we work. Here she is learning to pay bills.

Visiting Cousins

Last weekend, Walker and Findley got to spend some time with their cousins. Walker isn't in any of these photos because he was too busy playing in the dog's water bowl.

Harper wanted to hold Findley...

Then she wanted Marnie to hold both of them.

Then, Zoe held her.

It doesn't look like Findley is having fun here, but she was totally loving it.

Sleeping Beauty

Halloween

This year for Halloween, Walker was a football referee because of his extensive experience with penalty signals. Mom and Dad were his assistants, and Findley was a football. She didn't stay in her costume for long because it was hot!

Before going to the Ramsey's house, the kids ran around the house in their pre-Halloween outfits.


Once we got to the party, we had to take photos quickly before the costumes started to be shed.



Marmee and Gator got in on the fun also!

Enjoying the Outdoors

Findley went outside to hang out on her blanket and get some fresh air.

She got some tummy time, too. But she seemed more interested in licking the blanket than practicing holding up her head.

Meanwhile, Walker thought that Findley's bathtub is a slide when turned upside down.
