Oh, hello there!

Weekend Outing

Last Sunday we went to Central Market for lunch with Josh, Jess, Livy, Bryan, Asher, Brian and Mary Beth. Jess took some good photos of the outing.

During the car ride, Walker got to hang out in the backseat with Josh and Jess.




Dad took Walker on a flight under the trees just before lunch.


We had a nice lunch, and enjoyed spending time with friends.

First ER Visit

Around midnight on Thursday, Walker woke us up with loud painful coughs and wheezing. It sounded like he was having a really difficult time breathing, so we called his pediatrician. She listened to his breathing over the phone and recommended that we take him to the ER.

The ER doctors and nurses quickly checked him out. They hooked him up to a pulse oximeter and determined that despite the labored breathing, he was getting enough oxygen. They diagnosed him with croup, and gave him a steroid shot and breathing treatment. Within an hour or two, he seemed to be feeling better and was able to sleep for a while.





He still has a little bit of a wheeze going on, and we're thankful that his terrible-sounding cough is gone. Most importantly, Walker seems to be feeling better and has been crawling all over the living room today. He's ready for the Horns game!

Tailgate Fun

The weather was perfect for Walker's first tailgate last weekend. He didn't go to the game this time, but he can't wait until he's big enough to cheer on the Horns.

Highchair Video

Here's a video of Walker in his high chair. It won't be long before he gets food all over it!

New Highchair

Walker got a new highchair this weekend. He loves sitting in it and flinging his toys onto the floor. Here are a couple of photos, and we'll post a video later today.

Almost Crawling

Mom shot this video of Walker playing on the living room floor yesterday. As soon as he learns how to work his arms, he's going to be crawling all over the place.
