When it gets close to Walker's naptime, he can either be crazy wild child, or calm and quiet. On this day, he was in a calm, quiet mood and had fun with Mama on the couch.
By the way, his mouth is red, but not because of blood. About a half hour before these photos, Walker found a container of fruit punch Crystal Light powder and proceeded to open it and eat about half of it.
We apologize for the lack of posts lately. Between moving and vacations, we haven't had much time to upload photos and videos. We promise to publish more stuff in the next couple of weeks!
To celebrate the Fourth of July, we went to Granny and Granddaddy's house. Walker's best buddy Asher also came over. The boys had fun playing with the wagon, though Asher seemed to do all the work.
Walker is practicing with utensils. A couple of days ago, he ate some oatmeal, and used his spoon to eat some of it. He also used his hands when the spoon wasn't working quickly enough. Stay tuned tomorrow to see the aftermath of this breakfast!
The rain stopped long enough on Saturday for us to enjoy some playing time outside. Walker is getting very fast at going up and down his slide. His favorite method is face-first.
We played some basketball (sorry we didn't get any photos), and Walker had a great time playing outside after being cooped up for days because of the rain.
After getting out of the bath, Walker brushed his teeth, while Mama brushed his hair. It's so rare to see him looking so fresh and clean! As you can see, he requires two toothbrushes to get the job done. What a diva!
For Father's Day, Leann surprised me with tickets on the Austin Duck Tour. We got some history of Austin, and then we splashed into Lake Austin. Walker loved being on the lake, and we had to hold him tightly so he wouldn't jump into the water!
