Walker on a Blanket

Nothing much to post tonight. Just a couple of photos of Walker on a blue blanket.


This makes us realize how much our little point and shoot camera truly sucks. We're currently saving up to replace our downstairs bathtub, which has a crack it it. (Photos of the renovation to come.) After we do that, we'll save up for a new camera!

Also, Walker wants his public to know that new videos will be coming soon. Dad forgot to recharge the video camera batteries. We'll be back in business soon!

Visit to Granny's and Granddaddy's House

Last weekend, Walker went to visit Granny and Granddaddy. He was impressed with the rainstick noisemaker.

Walker's New Friends

Walker has lots of new friends lately! In addition to his cousin Harper, he's met new friends Asher, Quinlan, Julien and Adrien, all of whom have been born in the past few weeks.

Here he is in his first photo with Asher last Friday. Walker had been out and about all day, so he was tired and grumpy by the time the photo was taken.

On Saturday, Walker met Quinlan. Here he is posing with Mom, Jenny, Quinlan and Annie.

Walker has also been hanging out with his big monkey friend that Jenny and Phil gave him. Walker loves how Monkey's soft arms hug him.

Date Night

We left Walker at home for the first time last week and went out to see Rent. We took a quick photo with the kiddo before we left the house.

Emma and Gator hung out with Walker at the house, and they had a good time.

Happy Birthday Emma!

Walker made a cake for Emma's birthday. He's small, so it's a cupcake. There are exactly six candles on the cupcake. Those six candles by no means symbolize anything. It's a complete coincidence that there are exactly six candles on the cupcake.

Jogging Stroller

Walker got a new ride this weekend! He can't wait for mom to go jogging with him. So far, he's cruised around the block and down to the library in it. It's got a little speaker in it, so Mom can play Slow Ride and I Can't Drive 55.

Just kidding. He's actually been listening to Rainbow Connection and I Am My Own Grandpa.

Walker's New Shades

Walker got his first pair of sunglasses this weekend. He wasn't too excited about wearing them, but they looked really cute on him. So we forced him to wear them inside:


Walker and Mom took a walk down to the library today, and he didn't mind wearing them in the sun.

Papa Gator made Walker a sock monkey, and he loves laying with it when he's on his changing table.

Mom took Walker for a walk the other day, and grabbed these photos of him in his hat.

Bath Time!

Before going out for all of the Mother's Day celebrations on Sunday, Walker took a bath. He loves his new bath tub, and we loved smelling him after he was clean!

Mother's Day Fun

So today Walker and Dad took mom out for a picnic in a nearby park. Before we left the house, Walker sent out a message to his mom, his grandmothers and great-grandmother.



Later in the day, we all met up with Granddaddy, Granny, Aaron, Marnie, Zoe, Harper, Curtis, Julie, Ella, Lila and Ellen at Mighty Fine. We were able to find a table that fit our entire group, and the girls loved washing their hands in the automatic sanitizing machine. Leann and Marnie swapped Harper and Walker. Harper is seven days old, and about half the size of Walker!



Granddaddy and Granny got in on the baby-holding action also.

Walker was having a calm afternoon last week, so Mom grabbed the camera to capture it.

Walker Meets His Great-Grandfathers

This weekend, Walker took his first road trip to meet some family members for the first time. He loved the car trip, and Mom and Dad didn't have to stop a single time.

On Saturday, he paid a visit to Pawpaw.



On Sunday afternoon, Papa came over to say hi. Walker woke up to say hello, but he was sleeping in this photo.



In addition to his great-grandfathers, Walker also got to meet his great uncle and aunt, David and Joellen.





Later that day, he went to visit his great-great uncle and aunt, Roger and Berthie.





Also on Sunday, his semi-uncle Wade came over to meet Walker.




In addition to new family members, Walker went to a party on Saturday night and partied 'til the early morning. It was a fun weekend, but we were all happy to get back to Austin to see Walker's new cousin, Harper (photos to come).
